1. Cake layer:

200 g butter
3 dl sugar
3 eggs
1.5 dl strong coffee
1.5 dl heavy cream
4.5 dl flour
1.5 dl cocoa powder (that's real cocoa powder, not some drink mix, heathens!)
3 teaspoons baking powder

Melt butter, add sugar, add eggs one by one. Add baking powder to the
flour and mix everything together. Bake at 175 C for 40-50 min until
you can prick it with something sharp and it comes out dry.

2. Brownie layer:

150g butter
3 dl sugar
2 eggs
1 dl cocoa (again, the real thing)
1 dl flour

200 C, 20 minutes. Don't test with anything sharp, it's not supposed
to be dry inside.

3. Frosting:

6 dl sour cream
5 dl sugar
1 dl cocoa
20-30 ml butter

Boil for 5-7 minutes, stirring all the time.

Let everything cool. Cut the cake layer in 3 and the brownie layer in
2. Cake layer should be moistened with some liquid (I use cream and
coffee liqueur). Brownie layer should be moist all by itself. Put the
layers together (cake-brownie-cake-brownie-cake), with some of the
frosting between them. The rest of the frosting does on top.
