1. Cake batter:

3 eggs
1.5 dl sugar
1.5 dl flour
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 teaspoon baking powder

Beat eggs and sugar together. Add baking powder to the flour and mix
everything together. Bake at 175 C for 25-30 min until you can prick
it with something sharp and it comes out dry.

For a big cake, make two of these.

2. Caramel

2 dl heavy cream
2 dl sugar
1 dl dark syrup
1 teaspoon butter

Boil for about 30 minutes, stir often.

3. Moistening mix

1 dl heavy cream
1 dl some liqueur (I use coffee liqueur and a bit of rum.)

4. Whipped cream filling

2.5 dl heavy cream
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cream cheese (nice but not strictly necessary)

Whip cream and sugar together. Add the cream cheese, if any, after the
cream is whipped

5. Frosting

50 ml heavy cream
100 g chocolate
1 teaspoon butter

Heat cream and butter, melt chocolate in it.

Cut the cake into three layers (for big cakes, bake two and cut each
into two layers). Moisten them well. Caramel goes on the all the
layers xcept the top one. Whipped cream goes on top of the
caramel. Frosting goes on top of the cake. Both caramel and frosting
are easier to spread if they are a bit warm.
